PAC (Partners Against Crime) is a non-profit organization founded by Glenda Olin in January, 2002. The goal of PAC is to provide a safe supervised environment designed to assist boys and girls to become involved in organized activities as an alternative to crime and drugs. PAC's primary focus is martial arts. The PAC Karate Program is comprised of a unique group of kids between the ages of 5 and 18. Some kids are from single-parent homes and inter-city residences and have varying lifestyles.

For the past ten years, Sensei Glenda Olin has volunteered her time teaching kids the traditional art of Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate. Glenda believes strongly in the martial arts concepts of courtesy, discipline and respect. She leads as well as teaches by example and vigorously trains with the students during each class. She explains to the students that training in the martial arts is challenging, but extremely rewarding.

The PAC Karate students begin their training by learning the basic techniques of karate and these techniques are reinforced in each class. The students have also learned to work with the Bo, a traditional Okinawan weapon, practice forms with speed and grace and demonstrate technique and strength in sparring. At the end of each karate class, the students meditate. Meditation teaches the students to clear their mind and to give them a few moments to themselves.
